Joyful a Season of Blessings and Goodwill to All!

The Dolphins, Capt. Nancy, and everybody in Hawaii are gearing up for a

fabulous and busy holiday season. We send you all Greetings for this most magic
of seasons!

Thanksgiving is such a perfect way to begin the season; giving thanks for all
we have. Time to know the gratefulness for all the joy, adventures, and fun this
past year has brought.
Indeed, 2006 has been a year of many blessings, new and old friends, fabulous joy shared with Dolphins, and squeals of joy received in return.

Now we are in the season of giving and celebrating. The sun is about to turn around to bring us more light each day. Here in Hawaii this is subtle. For you who live a bit closer to the North or South Poles, this is a most welcome transition. When the light of day is ending all too soon, remember the warmth of the sun on your shoulders, the balmy breeze on you face and the squeal of joyous dolphins or the song of the magnificent humpback whale from your sweet days in Hawaii. We are glad you came and shared some fun with Dolphin Journeys.

Thank You!

My holiday preparations began yesterday with the outside lights going up. We trim the house, the palm tree and a few lights on the lime tree. It is festive; I love coming home to the colorful lights. It warms my heart. Now for the mac nuts and coffee to buy, wrap and mail. My family in Minnesota, Houston and New
York have fresh Hawaiian Mac Nuts and Kona Coffee as part of their holiday feasting. This year there will also be 2007 dolphin calendars and coffee mugs and sweatshirts from the Dolphin Gift Shop under their trees.

Blessings to you and your family this season. May your celebration with its special and personal expression be warm, joyous and sprinkled in magic!

Warmest Aloha! Capt. Nancy, The Dolphins, Tiffany & Pluto!

Dolphin Gift Shop for Holiday Gift Giving

Dolphin Gift Shop is a fun place to shop. There are a variety of things to consider. The 2007 Dolphin Calendar are pictures myself and the crew have taken of sweet dolphin friends during your Dolphin Journeys. I am particularly fond of the ‘Thank You’ cards and post cards; they came out cute.

Marc’s coloring book, featuring the story of Kanoa, the little lost dolphin who finds his way home thanks to that noisy Pluto & the Dolphin TLC, is a must for a fond reminder of your day with Dolphin Journeys.

The pink t-shirt with the mother & baby is our most popular t-shirt for the women. A coffee mug for the office with your dolphin friends may be a good gift.

tshirtFor the babies in your life, they can never have enough onesies/infant creepers. There are teddy bears and toddler t-shirts too. Then, for all that stuff you carry around with the kids, or your knitting, or school books, there are several nice canvas tote bags to choose from.

and click on Gift Shop.

The time from order to your door is about a week. So today is a good day to get some of those Christmas gifts on their way towards being under your tree, at the Hanukkah celebration or your exchange of Spirit celebration. This is a
direct printing program, so the printer will ship the item directly to you.

Mahalo in advance for your support of this endeavor.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the public comments to NOAA regarding the proposed changes to the Marine Mammal Protection Act. I really appreciate the outpouring of support!

If you missed the time frame, I am sure you can still send letters in.

We will not know the result for a year or more. I have invited Chris Yates out on my boat and he said he would come in January. I will keep you posted as I learn more.

Humpback Whales

Our beautiful giants, the humpback whales, are arriving and beginning to fill the waters with their beautiful song. It is
exciting and we enjoy wonderful whale watching on most Dolphin Journeys. We also have an afternoon ‘Whale Watch’ when we go out just for the whales. So tell your friends to come see the Humpbacks on the Dolphin TLC, enjoy the pleasure of just 6 guests with a great educational briefing, along with drinks and snacks. Our Whale Watch is 3 hours in the afternoon; 2:00 – 5:00. We start the whale watch tour in January after the busy holiday season. Of course on every Dolphin Journey, we will stop to enjoy the whales we encounter enroute to the dolphins and manta rays.
